This past Friday March 21st, a beloved NOLA community member Xeena was issued a 5 day order to vacate from her home.

We are urgently trying to raise another $4,000 over the next 4 days to avoid an eviction. You can give at the link below!

The very hopeful news is that there is a path forward for Xeena to get rental assistance. This would be so major and amazing and awesome! However in order for that to happen all of the back rent has to be paid so that a new lease can be issued for the process to move forward.

We can collectively help a Black disabled trans femme stay in her house. This is a matter of survival, of living or dying, of safety - please support if you can. And please spread the word!

i had to pay my insurance & overdue telco bill (my phone, ipad (an item i need for accessibility reasons), & home internet are with the same company) & pay back my partner for money i borrowed off him weeks ago. now i don't have enough for my weekly grocery delivery & i don't wanna ask my partner again.

i also to get more n95 masks. i'm down to 2 unused 1s & 1 is a backup i keep in my rollator at all times. i can get really sick & possibly die nowadays if i catch covid yet again. i almost died the 1st time i had it & the next 2 times weren't quite as bad, but still awful.
