Good AM 🌞

For the first time in a while, Mt Fuji🗻 is visible, albeit dimly (📸7:00).

Golden Week started with worse weather than forecast, but it should clear up soon!

Happy holidays🤘.

Mt Fuji is only vaguely visible now🗻

There is still the whiteness of the snow, but there are also places where it is a bit thin!?

Happy Monday🤘

People planning to visit Mt. Fuji will be required to wear appropriate climbing gear, the local government hosting the mountain's most popular trail said, as it begins accepting reservations next week. As part of the online reservation process set to begin Thursday, visitors must agree to terms including wearing warm clothing and appropriate footwear, Yamanashi Prefecture said, adding that access to the Yoshida Trail may be denied for noncompliance. The new measure comes amid a rise in foreign visitors and growing concerns about overcrowding, with many lightly dressed climbers seen on the mountain last year. Local governments are seeking to

@codewiz IMHO, your photo does look better 😊

We climbed to the Arakurayama Sengen Park Observatory to take a classic shot of Sakura trees blossoming in front of Mount Fuji.

Didn't have the patience to wait over 1h in line for the even more iconic picture with the Chureito Pagoda in the foreground.

For several years, I've been using a stock photo as my Mastodon profile background, and I doubt my own shot would look better.
