The #C64Ultimate overlaps some of the features you get from #MeatLoaf and #FujiNet (load stuff from SD card or network). This probably explains why I kinda forgot having gotten one before my C64U. Tried it today for the first time, with the FujiNet firmware.

Still in beta on Commodore devices, the image isn’t an option in the flasher app but you can get it from the releases.

I am mostly interested in the apps that talk to each other over various platforms. A bit lost right now :-)

Ok, this is pretty cool. Using `DEBUG`, `MODE`, and `CTTY` I was able to bootstrap the #FujiNet driver over to a fresh install without having to resort to SneakerNet via writing the driver to removable media. I let the remote system take control of the DOS prompt through the serial prot and it moved the file over "ADTPRo style." #VintageComputing #RetroComputing

It’s interesting to see how different our worlds were a few decades ago. Back in Switzerland (strongly influenced by Germany, even in the French speaking part)   Commodore was *the thing* in the 8 bit era.

I hardly even heard about 8 bit Atari computers (like the 800 XL) and they seem great based on what I see.

I just started to care about them because of #FujiNet .
