Nicht viel los am U-Bahnhof Eberswalder Straße. Ostermontag! Einer tritt gerade aus dem Schatten, der andere ist leider schon etwas zu weit für eine perfekte Silhouette vor der hellen Wand. Und etwas mehr Weitwinkel wäre gut gewesen – aber nichts anderes dabei. Irgendwas ist ja immer.

Not much going on at the Eberswalder Straße subway station. Easter Monday! One person is just stepping out of the shadows, while the other has unfortunately already walked a bit too far to make for a perfect silhouette against the bright wall. A wider angle would have been nice—but I didn’t have anything else with me. There’s always something. 🤷‍♂️

Ein wenig irritiert war der Mitarbeiter des Supermarktes, als ich mit der Kamera aus allen möglichen Blickwinkeln über die Reihen von Einkaufswagen hinweg fotografierte. „Machen Sie das privat?“ Er befürchtete wohl, ich könnte ein Kontrolleur sein und prüfen, ob er die Wagen auch alle schön akkurat ausgerichtet hat. Er empfahl mir dann später noch den Blick aus der nächsten Etage von oben auf die Einkaufswagen. Das sah auch gut aus, aber diese Perspektive gefällt mir klar besser. – Ein weiteres Foto meiner Einkaufswagen-Serie #shopped und die letzte Chance, noch etwas zum #MonochromeMarch beizutragen.

The supermarket employee was a little puzzled when I started taking photos from every possible angle over the rows of shopping carts. “Are you doing this for personal reasons?” He probably feared I might be an inspector checking to see if he’d lined up all the carts neatly. Later, he suggested I try looking down at the shopping carts from the floor above. That looked good too, but I definitely prefer this perspective. – Another photo from my shopping cart series #shopped and my last chance to contribute something to #MonochromeMarch (zine permission granted).
