This cat was sunning on a very cold day in a narrow alley that probably gets no more than a couple hours of winter sun. I wish I could have joined in on the inside with a cup of coffee and a friendly cat while my fingers were practically frozen on the metal shutter release button.

I took this photo a couple years ago and I still can't quite figure out which way I was looking up or down when shooting this subway entrance roof. It's kind of fun to forget what I shot a while back and rediscovering the scene again (that's how I'm justifying my backlog okay!)

Took that picture in June/2009 with the good old Agfa Optima II of my grandpa, which has been a pretty 'compact' camera in it's time (model year 1959/1960). :smile:
