OT: It's one thing for our government to lie to us -- repeatedly -- but to change an employee's out-of-office message to include blaming Democrats for the government's shutdown when that is not what the employee wrote or wants to write is the most authoritarian bullshit I've read today.
Hatch Act, common decency, call it what you will --- the people who ordered this and are implementing this should be sued or impeached or locked out of access to the servers at the very least.
