I've been watching a LOT of tiktoks about the whole Kate Middleton missing thing, but mostly because the American responses to it are absolutely fucking fascinating.

The obsession with it being some sort of conspiracy is predictable, but the way that every American commenting on these threads is positing a conspiracy theory as though THEY ARE THE ONLY PERSON TO HAVE THOUGHT OF IT.. it's like a new level to USian exceptionalism that I've only seen since the rise of the QAnon crowd.
