Another real boss move came from a Japanese journalist who dared to ask the speaker of #China's Foreign Ministry for a comment on Seki's socialmedia post and a possible visit to Taiwan.

During the latest drill, #China published a so-called "drone image" of the skyline of #Taipei, claiming that its drones got close to the capital of free and democratic #Taiwan.

This image was doctored and part of a #psyops effort to discourage the Taiwanese. Pretty disappointing to see the South China Morning Post #SCMP as a once independent newspaper in #HongKong engage in this #propaganda crap.

If most #LLMs were trained on the data obtained by the wholesale theft of personal intellectual property over recent years, & if LLMs directly relate to what the general public [including me, who makes no claims at all to deep subject knowledge here] think of as being "AI", then how do peeps in the general public who choose to use, & express a liking for, "AI", reconcile their behaviour with the enormously immoral act on which it is predicated?

Does it mean therefore that if such peeps happen to have installed, eg, #SolarPanels on their roofs, they were happy to use panels sourced from the enforced slave-labour Xinjiang Uyghur camps created & run by the #CCP, in direct contravention of all human rights considerations?

Do such peeps cheerfully buy cheap clothes made in SE Asia sweatshops that underpay their workers & make them endure unsafe workplaces & conditions?

Where are the moral limits for such peeps? Are ostriches the official totem for these peeps?
