Caito Bros
This is a capture of a working fishing boat docked in Noyo Harbor in Ft Bragg California. Ft Brag is roughly 3-1/2 hours north of San Francisco and may as well be in another world. This is an area that started out as a lumber town, the town was owned basically by the lumber company. Once most of the redwoods in the area were cut down the area morphed into a fishing village.

Walking Bridge II

In this picture you see the trestles of the Pudding Creek Bridge. The bridge was built in 1915 as a railroad bridge that helped move the north coast lumber. In 1949 the bridge was converted to a one lane logging truck bridge.
The bridge halted service to motor vehicles in the late 70's.

Ft Bragg Sunset

Ft. Bragg is a wonderful Northern California seaside town that has been through many changes over the last century.
Lumber and fishing have been the main industry in this small town for many years. The lumber industry mostly died by the mid 1900's and the Salmon fishing has dropped off due to the fish population. It still has a small town charm and worth a visit.

Sunken Boat In Noyo Harbor B and W II

I'm not sure why, but old wooden boats fascinate me. I look forward to the future decay of this one as it slowly gives itself back to the earth.
Back when I first saw this boat I saw activity. There was a man walking the deck, I'm guessing that he was preparing for a fishing trip.
