Today was rosella day. This morning I picked all the good fruit off the tree (which is looking a bit rough to be honest), removed the seed pods and washed them then I realised I had to wash the new dehydrator and put it on for an hour to dry/ disinfect itself. So... I finally turned the machine on around 3pm and at midnight I'll be able to make myself the most time consuming cup of tea ever. 👍

I want to make jam but I need some canning tongs and a few other things because last time I made relish I splashed boiling water all over my chest and i don't want to repeat that.

I wish lilly pillies fruited at the same time as rosellas because I want to combine them in something 😭

My first batch of #fermented #SourPlums is done & jarred. There's over 300 in this jar. Starting next batch in 2 weeks, with some of my yellow #plums this time. Preserved with simple coarse salt & cane sugar.
