The last few days I've managed at least a mile of walking every day, mostly to and from the bus, but I missed a bunch more #YWAHome. Today I doubled up & finished Day 20, which I thought would be a nice stretchy yin session but there was some more core stuff in it SNEAKY.
Went out for another after-dinner walk with my spouse. #FrozenFeet2020 has been gentle encouragement for my body *and* my marriage.
Yesterday: Got up too late to walk all the way to books to prisoners, but walked almost a mile to find a car, then a mile and a half to the munch. Did #YWAHome day 16 when I got home - holding it steady at 2 days behind schedule.
Today: I had some digestion yuck last night and called in sick. Felt mostly better this afternoon, except v foggy from lack of sleep. Did not go out for a walk, did do yoga Day 17, which left my elbows feeling weird.
#MoveIt2020 stuff today:
#darebee's Epic 5 Day 24 https://darebee.com/programs/epic-five.html?showall=&start=24 - couldn't do it all in one go, so I took some breaks;
Total Abs Day 26 https://darebee.com/programs/total-abs.html?start=26 on Lvl1;
and #ywahome day 12.
Also, we took a 1-hour walk while it was snowing a wee bit. #FrozenFeet2020
Yesterday felt like a write off in a lot of ways - stayed too late at work not doing enough, no walk, no yoga. But I'm being hard on myself - I did get some data import code written, and my walk to & from the bus stops added up to a bit over a mile. So, #FrozenFeet2020 after all.
Tonight I grabbed my spouse for an after dinner loop around the park, and did #YWAHome day 15. Pictured: someone's very excited rose bush.
Took an after dinner walk with my spouse. Was gonna do the next yoga challenge but we caught up on The Good Place instead and it was nice.
No picture from yesterday but I did the thing! Working from downtown this week & next so I took a walk to a taiyaki truck for lunch. Then #YWAHome day 14.
As I had assumed, today was a day with pretty little in the way of sports. Did a very light 13-minute Kundalini Yoga session in the morning, then a lot of walking (might have been over 2 hours on my feet) and closed off things with the last day of the #Darebee Power Grip challenge.
Good Night!
I had to go in to the office to retrieve my laptop. Ice was definitely a thing but it was navigable, with care, and the sun was even out! Only walked half of the #FrozenFeet2020 minimum though.
I did days 12 & 13 of #YWAHome, so now I'm caught up.
I was gonna skip out on #FrozenFeet2020 yesterday, but then I stepped outside for a short gawk at the weather and found myself drawn out to the park for a loop in the midnight snow. 1.7 miles total.
I've been joking that I swore a sacred vow to this hashtag but last night it almost felt real.
No yoga though. Maybe I'll have the oomph for two tonight?
