My walk today was awesome and cold...5 degrees. I spend so much time looking up at the frosty trees, it's a wonder I've not broken my neck. There is nothing more pure and pristine to me than being out on the trails in the cold, crisp almost-sunset afternoon and seeing the light of the fading sun on the tops of the trees. #Alaska #AlaskaInWinter #CentennialParkAK #FrostyTrees

There has been snow on the ground for over a week, but the last few days have been freezing fog, so now the trees are coated white with frost. Pine trees look like they’ve been flocked. Temperature this morning was 10 degrees, and we only got up to 30 during the day.
