Every donation, word of support, can make a real difference

I am Fatima, a 21-year-old woman.I got engaged just one month before the war started. My dreams were simple: a warm home, a small family, and a smile that never fades. But the war came suddenly and shattered even the simplest of hopes. In its early days, I was separated from my fiancé. I remained in northern Gaza, while he was displaced to the south. We tried to stay in touch, but the infrastructure was completely destroyed—no electricity, no internet, and sometimes no phone signal at all.Months went by with little to no contact, just waiting for news, waiting for a miracle.Eventually, communication slowly began to return. We talked whenever we could. He asked me to come to the south, because he was forbidden from returning to the north.I kept refusing—not because I didn’t love him, but because I couldn’t leave my family behind in such horror. He kept pleading, and I kept clinging to hope… hoping the war would end, that we could start our life together here in the north. But the war didn’t end. My heart was torn between love and fear. After months of struggle, I finally agreed to leave.I packed what I could—clothes fit for a bride, cleaning supplies, a few accessories—knowing these things were unavailable where I was going.I said goodbye to my mother, my siblings, my neighborhood—everything I’d ever known.I traveled south, reunited with my fiancé, and we got married… far from those I love, holding onto hope that this would be the beginning of a new life. But the joy didn’t last long.Soon after, during a temporary ceasefire, we decided to return to the north. But peace was only an illusion.War returned quickly, and our area was once again under attack. We had to flee again—this time not to the north or the south, but to the west of Gaza.We carried our newborn baby, shattered memories, and a dream that refused to die.Today, I live with my husband and infant son in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. My baby knows nothing of life but the sound of drones, trembling ground, and the cries of hunger. He cries often—sometimes from cold, sometimes from hunger, sometimes from fear—and I can do nothing. We are in desperate need of everything:- Baby formula, diapers, blankets, clean water, food—just enough to survive.- There are no hospitals nearby, no healthcare, and if one of us gets sick, all we have is prayer.- We need urgent aid to maintain the bare minimum of dignity as a family and as human beings.I’m not asking for the impossible—just enough to keep my baby alive, just enough to keep going for his sake.Your donation, no matter how small, is the only hope we have. For my child, for the children of Gaza, for our humanity—please, don’t hesitate.Help us live.Help us fight death with life.

Urgent Support for Jaafar

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Barnes and I am a US citizen organizing this campaign on behalf of my friend Jaafar, who is raising funds to support his parents, grandmother, and nine siblings. Jaafar previously raised more than €2,500 on GoFundMe, but he lost access to the campaign and the funds he collected. Despite repeated attempts to recover that money, we were unsuccessful. Therefore, I helped Jaafar create this Chuffed account to support his family as much as possible through this link. Please read his story below.

Support Jaafar and his family. He has been getting very little donations ($5) from other people. Due to the cold, diseases have spread rapidly.

His children have the flu and jaafar is ill himself.

Please support and help him afford for medication and other basic needs.

Please help Khaled, his brothers, and their young nieces and nephews in #Gaza. The weather's looking bad this weekend, they need clothes, food, meds, shelter, and money for Khaled's colege fees. Even a boost or a few dollars makes a difference. Spread the word.

A Donation Campaign for Ahmed and His Family

My Story: From the Hell of War to the Search for Safety My name is Ahmed, a 20-year-old young man from Gaza. Since the war began, my life has completely changed. I was unable to pursue the education I had dreamed of; instead, my only concern became survival—for myself and my family.  Every day, I risked my life just to get a single bag of flour. Every attempt meant facing death, just for a morsel of food for my family. Life was anything but easy; it was filled with fear and suffering.  We lived in the inferno of war. The explosions shook the ground beneath us like earthquakes, and the red flames consumed everything in sight. Starvation weakened our bodies. After two months of war, we were forced to flee south by Israeli forces. Our family was torn apart—some remained in the north while others, including myself, fled south, where we had to live in a tent. We lost everything in a matter of moments, including our safety and comfort.      A Journey of Struggle and Hardship  During this difficult journey, we lost all hope of returning home. My younger brother and I were displaced to Mawasi Rafah, where we stayed for nearly five months, facing countless challenges. I suffered from malnutrition due to contaminated water, poor hygiene, and the spread of infectious diseases in the absence of necessary medicine. Later, we were displaced again to Mawasi Deir al-Balah. Today, we live in an overcrowded UN school classroom in southern Gaza, surrounded by many others who share the same suffering. Despite everything, we hold onto hope and try to rebuild our lives in a safer environment.  After a year and a half of immense suffering, a ceasefire was finally reached, giving us a glimpse of hope to start over. We believed that, with time, we could heal from the psychological and material devastation inflicted upon us. Unfortunately, just 50 days after the ceasefire, war returned with even greater intensity. We do not know how long this nightmare will last this time, but we pray for it to end soon.  Endless Displacement and Destruction  Throughout the war, my family in the north was displaced multiple times. Each time they returned, they were met with even more destruction. In an attempt to find stability, they tried to build a small room beside the ruins of our home.         However, life in Gaza remains unbearable. The lack of job opportunities has deprived us of securing even the most basic necessities such as water, food, and clothing. The cold weather has taken a toll on our bodies, and hunger has weakened us from within.  How can your donations help us? • Evacuating my family from Gaza: The costs of coordination and obtaining permits to leave Gaza are extremely high, and we need to secure the money to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.  â€˘ Securing shelter and basic living expenses in a safe place outside Gaza: Our goal is to find a safe and stable place to live outside Gaza. Your donations will help cover rent and basic expenses while we adjust to a new environment.  â€˘ Overcoming the economic challenges resulting from the war: The blockade on Gaza has led to severe food and water shortages, and unbearably high prices. Your support will help my family cover our immediate basic needs as we work to rebuild our lives.  Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference. Through your generosity, you can give us the opportunity to escape devastation, protect future generations, and reignite hope for a peaceful and dignified life. We believe that together we can overcome this difficult situation and build a better future.  No one should have to endure this injustice. No one should live in constant fear of death and destruction.  Today, we appeal to you to help us survive and begin anew, far from war and suffering.  Thank you for your support during these difficult times.
