My commentary on the concepts of underdetermination and causation in Tom #Froese 's Irruption Theory just got published in #AdaptiveBehavior! Very excited to have this paper out, I think #IrruptionTheory is a promising framework for capturing the causal influence of normative mental processes on non-mental systems! In the paper, I suggest some amendments and changes to the theory to allow it to connect to other promising research on this topic from the direction of complex systems theory. #ComplexSystems
