@Kiki I can shamelessly recommend a Freifunk router - alleviating the need for an addon :)

Other than that the Venn diagram for free and trustworthy VPN gets pretty slim.

Am Wochenende mit @Retter den #ESP32 basierten #Car2X Receiver für
#OpenTrafficMap auf's #WIRhaus in #Wülfrath installiert.
Der Aufbau ist handgelötet aus einem ESP32-C5-Board, einem W5500 Ethernet-PCB und einem POE-5V-Extraktor.
(Ja, das Gehäuse ist von einer alten TP-Link CPE210, die für #Freifunk nicht mehr zeitgemäß wäre.)
