@Ryanteck could try ditching the aerial by using Freely (Freeview over ip)
I have the Netgem Pleio streaming stick and it works pretty well. That does need one unit per TV though.
The included gamepad works well with steam link app too (it has play store).
The 4 elements of valid #consent in the #GDPR are: #Freely given, #Specific, #Informed and #Unambiguous.

At no point before now had I considered that #TV would just end, becoming online #boxsets with forced advertising and a compulsory (additional) £30/ month connection #freely

Digital sovereignty has a bad reputation. In internet governance circles, sovereignty is considered awkward enough to be referred to by as the "s-word."
