Latest EAZ paper! We present the final article in the series about Franz Boas's legacy. This article critically examines Franz Boas's anti-racist stance, revealing inconsistencies in his engagements with Afro-Americans and Native Americans. Focusing on Boas's collecting practices, the paper argues that despite his significant contributions, Boas's work was marked by epistemic and structural violence.
