Il Tempo: Verderami stende la sinistra: "Chi troverà Meloni a Bruxelles"

La puntata di lunedì 13 aprile di Quarta Repubblica, su Rete 4, si apre con  la sinistra italiana che esulta per la sconfitta di Orban alle elezioni ungheresi. Singolare, visto che il vincitore Magyar è di centrodestra e la sinistra, per la prima volta, è scomparsa dal Parlamento di Budapest. Cosa ci sarà da festeggiare per i progressisti secondo cui ha perso Giorgia Meloni? Ah, saperlo. La premier "la vedo come una sorta di Pippo Inzaghi, un calciatore che giocava sempre sul filo del fuorigioco", osserva Francesco Verderami. Meloni "è la presidente del consiglio di un paese che fa parte dell'Occidente e quindi deve avere a che fare anche con una persona di cui immagino parlerai a breve, che è Trump, che ormai ha esondato. Ma svolge il ruolo di presidente del Consiglio e gestisce la politica estera dentro questo spazio sempre più esiguo. Quindi se la sinistra vuole, può dire che la Meloni ha perso..." commenta l'editorialista del Corriere della sera.
"Io lo scommettevo al primo sondaggio in cui Orbán era giù: ho detto 5 minuti e parte la corsa a dire che ha perso Meloni...", dice ancora il retroscenista che si dice contento che Orban abbia perso le elezioni: "Adesso Meloni si troverà a Bruxelles con un nuovo premier di centrodestra e, lo dico ai politici di sinistra, con la quale potrà avere una politica più coerente, per esempio, sull'Ucraina" visto che Magyar è anti-Putin.

“I bet on him in the first poll where Orban was down: I said five minutes and the race starts to say he’s lost Meloni…” he continues, the insider who says he’s happy Orban lost the elections: “Now Meloni will find herself in Brussels with a new center-right Prime Minister and, I tell the left politicians, with whom she can have a more consistent policy, for example, on Ukraine” given that Magyar is anti-Putin.

Il Tempo: "Nessun interesse", Verderami travolge Salis: la verità smentisce i piagnistei

“Della Salis non mi interessa nulla”: Francesco Verderami durissimo su Ilaria Salis e il caso che l'eurodeputata ha sollevato in occasione della manifestazione No Kings e della presunta perquisizione preventiva avvenuta nella sua camera d'albergo poche ore prima l'inizio dei cortei.
L'esponente di Avs aveva infatti accusato la maggioranza sui social e a mezzo stampa di avere effettuato un controllo preventivo e discriminatorio, e si era spinta a definire l'Italia “uno stato di polizia”. Sul caso ieri è tornato Verderami, che ospite di 4 di sera su Rete 4, si è dimostrato tutto fuorché d'accordo con l'europarlamentare.

“Della Salis non mi interessa nulla – ha esordito – Non mi interessa nulla nel senso che la Questura, quindi le forze istituzionali, non il governo, non l'autoritaria Giorgia Meloni hanno spiegato che cosa è successo”. Il riferimento del giornalista e principe dei retroscenisti politici è a ciò che è stato comunicato dalla polizia dopo le gravi accuse di Salis a mezzo stampa.

Le forze dell'ordine, infatti, in piena trasparenza hanno confermato il controllo ma hanno smentito la visione che sia stata una perquisizione arbitraria o un controllo preventivo connesso alla manifestazione. In una nota ufficiale, la polizia ha spiegato come l'intervento sia stato un "atto dovuto" a seguito di una segnalazione proveniente da un altro Paese europeo, ossia la Germania, nell'ambito dei meccanismi di cooperazione internazionale tra forze di polizia.

La Questura ha anche sottolineato come gli agenti intervenuti si sarebbero limitati a richiedere i documenti a Salis e alla persona che era con lei, senza accedere alla stanza d'albergo, e una volta accertata l'identità sarebbero andati via.
Fine della storia. Ed è proprio su questo che si basa la critica a Salis di Verderami che ha lasciato poco spazio a ulteriori discussioni e ha chiuso il suo intervento dicendo l'ovvio: “Le sue garanzie sono state, scusate il gioco di parole, garantite. Punto e basta”.

The Police Headquarters also emphasized that the officers who intervened limited themselves to requesting documents from Salis and the person who was with her, without accessing the hotel room, and once her identity was confirmed, they left.
End of the story. And it’s precisely on this that Verderami’s criticism of Salis is based, which has left little room for further discussion and he concluded his intervention saying the obvious: “Her guarantees were, I apologize for the pun, guaranteed. Period.”
