Finally got my @frameworkcomputer Laptop 16 today. Just a few tweaks to my NixOS setup and I'm good to go. Pretty happy with it so far.
@kkremitzki I also tried a Dell WD22TB4 Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-wd22tb4-thunderbolt-4-docking-station-black/6514259.p?skuId=6514259 that was a slightly newer version than one in the thread, that I thought should work, but that never quite worked on my #framework16. It also didn't have an audio out.

DJGummikuhI have a #Framework16 with #Manjaro and repeatedly have a peculiar situation:
- The mouse pointer can still move
- Any media is still running (audio can be heard)
- all screens freeze, no Interaction of any kind is possible.
- Going in via SSH, I can see no obvious issues in dmesg or Journalctl.
Can ANYBODY point me to at least a way to debug this? It's mildly annoying that I have to always fear to loose work due to my laptop freezing like that.

Mark StosbergThe Framework 16 laptop detects when it's booted partially assembled. It boots into a special mode to walk you through completing the assembly. The screen updates to reflect your progress and prompt the next step. This requires no tools to complete. Impressive! Watch:

TealkIch hab heute mal meine #Arch Festplatte wieder ins #FrameWork16 gepackt und kurz mal 800 Updates über mich ergehen lassen. Läuft aber direkt wieder fluffig.

#framework13 fairly cheap and I've seen people repair them from states that wouldn't be worth fixing with other laptops. Also I have a #framework16 and absolutely love it.
