LycorisMy Linux machine is back up! Finally have my private PC up and running again after finishing my custom loop… and suddenly realising the GPU is dying. (RIP RX 7800xt) I’ve only had the card for a year so luckily I received a full refund… and was able to replace it with a 9070xt just before the prices shot up. I had to buy a new waterblock though and adjust my hard tubing … again.
It was a stressful bunch of weeks but I’m happy with the result. Here’s to hoping no more components fail, especially the spicy DDR5 RAM…

Cody Boone Ferguson@madeindex hahaha I actually did exactly that. I mean if I'm forced to get the ARGB fans why not get a controller? I didn't know it did this until I installed it yesterday morning but it's fun. Since it's (maybe said this) a server/workstation hybrid board (in fact it even allows ECC, has BMC and others though I disabled BMC so I could control more locally .. and even server settings in BIOS) it doesn't have an ARGB header but the controller was cheap and by the same company: #fractaldesign.
Mind LudeFractal Design, the masters of minimalist PC cases, just unleashed their debut gaming headset, the Scape! For $200, it looks slick and sounds surprisingly good. Just don't expect plush cloud-like comfort or a mic that'll make you a podcast star. That web-based EQ app though? Genius.
