And now for something completely different! Here's a slammin' selection of dub and dancehall infused four to the floor grooves. I don't play this style of music very often and this mix came about completely by accident. I was digging for some heavy dubby psytrance to DJ back to back with a friend. While I didn't find much of that (I'm still looking, let me know if you find any!), I stumbled upon an incredible selection of bassline house, UK garage and tech house. In den nächsten Tagen stellen wir euch alle Acts vor, die unsere große Geburtstagsfeier am 22.11.2025 im @forumstadtpark unvergesslich machen werden. ❤️🖤

Tätig als DJ, Live-Performer und Labelgründer, hangelte sich Gernot in den letzten Jahrzehnten durch alle möglichen Stile des elektronischen Spektrums – von Drum & Bass über Breakbeat schlussendlich zu Techno.

Auch heute hält er am liebsten am Four-to-the-Floor-Prinzip fest!

Die älteren Semester kennen ihn vielleicht noch als DJ im „Niesenberger“ und nicht nur als Techniker im Helsinki – laut eigenen Angaben war das der Höhepunkt seiner DJ-Zeiten. Vor allem die avantgardistischen Live-Performances bleiben im Gedächtnis!
