Fort Hood Gets a New Name Honoring a Texas-Born Four-Star General

The U.S. Army, today, renamed Fort Hood to Fort Cavazos.

Renaming Fort Hood to Fort Cavazos was the right thing to do. One man was a racist and a traitor. The other man led his men by example, withstood racism, and protected others from racist officers. Don’t let anyone tell you that the “woke” are destroying American history. Honoring men like John Bell Hood corrodes America’s soul. Honoring men like Lt. Gen. Richard E. Cavazos strengthens America.
