Update: "According to the Fort Cavazos Directorate of Emergency Services, authorities are responding to an incident at BLORA and are asking the public to avoid the area until further notice.

Fort Cavazos Garrison Command Public Affairs officials later confirmed there was never an active shooter and no lockdown was issued on Saturday night. However, there was an incident at BLORA involving two individuals that is currently under investigation."

Renaming Fort Hood to Fort Cavazos was the right thing to do. One man was a racist and a traitor. The other man led his men by example, withstood racism, and protected others from racist officers. Don’t let anyone tell you that the “woke” are destroying American history. Honoring men like John Bell Hood corrodes America’s soul. Honoring men like Lt. Gen. Richard E. Cavazos strengthens America.
