#photography #carsofmastodon ninth in my #Formula1History series is a 2017 Scuderia Toro Rosso STR12 with a Renault engine as driven by Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly. This car has an engine formula similar to today of a 1.6 liter turbo V6 with an electric hybrid boost.

#photography #CarsOfMastodon ninth in my #Formula1History series the 2013 Ferrari F138 as driven by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. The last super loud V8 engined car, F1 switched to V6 hybrid engines that sounded awful the following year.

#photography #carsofmastodon eighth in my #Formula1History series is a 2011 McLaren MP4/26 as driven by Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton. FYI the MP4 name comes because in 1980 McLaren merged with Project 4, who had developed the first carbon fiber Formula1 chassis.

Photos taken at Velocity Invitational 2022 Laguna Seca. The event was partly sponsored by McLaren and they brought a lot of cool cars.
