Hello everyone!! First post on the forkiverse

I was curious if people have examples of tech products or uses of tech that empower consumers

I’ll share a couple that I’ve used: the app Yuka which scans food barcodes and gives a health rating on the product and better alternatives. Also big fan of ScreenZen which helps set strict limits and add friction to phone app usage (e.g., social media apps). Right now they’re both free and pay what you want!

#TheForkiverse It's amazing how a couple of random interactions can lift your mood. Not waiting or even if thinking of "likes" but just people making a connection for a time over something they share. I'd been on Mastodon (fosstodon.org) for about a year but it was too niche and i didn't make enough connections. I'm making a few now and it's making the internet great again. #forkiverse

Current status: The predominant opinion is that if there has been any interest of something more from either party, even when no such interest has been explored but merely the knowledge of it, a fully functional and healthy platonic friendship can never occur.

Needless to say, I want this friendship but am starting to realize that is going against common sense of my peer group.
