The album ‘By Design Or By Disaster’ is about the journey of a young man making his way through life and the relationships he creates along the way. The song ‘Lifeline’ is about the difficult relationship with his father. In this song our protagonist is an adolescent who feels he’s always in the way of his father. He does realise however that the reason for his father to treat him this way is because of his own demons. But in the end nothing will change and he is afraid he will turn out to be the same once he has a child of his own.
