Man this Mississippi Pot Roast with a carrot au jus over mashed potatoes and pickled pepperocini garnish was pretty banger though I'm a little bias'd

This was the worst ramen I'd ever had but I was powering through it.
THEN from the depths a hero arose.
A flavoring oil packet that was under the noodles when I originally took the broth powder and veg packets out.
This just went from a 3/10 to a 9/10 for cup o' noodles.
No idea where you can buy these. We were given a case at a local Asian grocer as a promotion in November.
They are SPICY. And the flavor is wildly complex. That oil was magic.
@ #Fediverse , was sind Mischungen die schon ekelig klingen aber in Realität richtig gut sind?
So wie
* Butterkäse mit Nutella aufs Brötchen
* Käsekuchen mit Salami

I love making #food from fridge leftovers. It's like my own private #Chopped
Kids had leftover #mac and #cheese, and I had some leftover rotisserie #chicken so I fried it in a nonstick with some #milk and #butter. Once it tightened up I added big hands full of #Chihuahua cheese, then in a separate skillet, toasted #Panko, plate, top with #Cholula hot sauce. #Breakfast #Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese
what dish would you most like to try?
1. Enchiladas suizas
2. Tacos de surtida
3. Huarache de bistec
Una chuladaaa... 🗣️🔥😋😛

Decided to try something new tonight. #Finnish #Salmon and #Dill #Soup. Aka #Lohikeitto
This is our first time having it, but even the littles gobbled it up. So try it out, you might find it's something you enjoy. It's also incredibly easy and inexpensive to make!
Baked apples with cinammon and sugar. Peeled em, mashed em, and put heavy cream over em 🤤
Highly recommend, you just halve an apple, sugar cinammon, tinfoil tent, bake 45 at 400F. Remove the tin foil, add 1/4C water. Cook 15 more.
Top with sweetened heavy cream or ice cream.
Taking a page from @Viss we decided to make our own hot sauce tonight after clearing the garden and tearing out the plants.
@Haileyeliah and I had let it go for weeks since the weather was hot, but we're seeing sub 40F next week so gardening season is at an end.
Date night at Chatkazz... will we ever get to eating a tenth of their gigantic menu? We may never know!
(Hmm I can't content warn on images now, guess I have to CW the lot)
Fancy dessert with friends today! KOI Dessert Bar's Like A Boss mousse cake (sudachi, mirabelle plum, umeshu, green tea rose, mango).
