Ik las net een interview met deze boer die op zijn akkers geen kunstmest of dierlijke mest gebruikt, en die "Agrarisch ondernemer van het jaar" (2022) is. Het zou heel goed zijn als er voor zijn producten meer FOODHUBS kwamen! Bijv. winkels waar je zijn groentedozen kunt ophalen.
Helaas is de enige foodhub in Amsterdam niet beschikbaar. @ #FortvanSjakoo?

Interesting challenge: along the front range of the Rockies in Colorado, where the biggest cities are, there are now two food system platforms that are being adopted by #FoodHubs, #FarmersMarkets, #producerCoops, #CSAs, etc: Liveline.ca, a for profit, proprietary platform out of Ontario, CA, and Open Food Network, a commons-oriented open source platform. Our effort in Colorado Springs lies between the two and will soon choose. Trying to advocate for OFN without alienating people...

Independent Film Society of Colorado and Pikes Peak Foodshed Forum showed the film Food for Change last night.

Great portrayal of the history of cooperatives in the US (could use more on the rich history of cooperatives and BIPOC).

Got a handful of people to sign-up for discussion of forming a local Cooperative Study-Action Circle.
