Fontaines D.C. kündigen heute ihr mit Spannung erwartetes viertes Album ROMANCE für den 23. August an. Es ist das erste Album der Band mit dem Produzenten James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Blur) und knüpft an den Erfolg des 2022 erschienenen Albums Skinty Fia an.
Die Leadsingle Starburster läutet die jüngste kreative Phase von Fontaines D.C. ein. Inspiriert von einer Panikattacke, die Leadsänger Grian Chatten im Londoner Bahnhof St. Pancras erlitt, wird der Song immer wieder durch scharfes und wildes Einatmen unterbrochen.
