Completed my first solo bushwhack yesterday. I'm awfully proud. Definitely planned for errors -- had two ponds as backstops, a stream and trail as handrails, and a Garmin for backup nav. Summited a small mountain (~2000 ft), came back down the other side, and stopped for a hot lunch at Clear Pond.
