Day 9 - Donn for #Folktober

In Irish mythology Donn is believed to be Lord of the dead. He dwells in the House of the Dark One (Teach Duinn) where the souls of the dead gather. I is believed the souls of the dead continue to walk the land of the living until they hear the sound of Donn's horn at Samhain, calling them to his house.

Day one of Folktober is the sad Welsh tale of a Gelert the dog! A loyal good boy he was mistakenly killed by his owner because it was believed he had killed their child. But in fact he'd saved the kid from a wolf. No good deed goes unpunished hey!
