The last #FolktaleWeek2024 prompt is #FolktaleWeekBlossom so I printed an illustration of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale Thumbelina (Tommelise).

In my #linocut illustration with collaged Japanese papers, Thumbelina rides the swallow, narrator of our tale, at the moment she finally meets someone her size and to her liking, in the tiny flower-fairy prince, surrounded by flowers. 🧵
