This #selfie is proof that we were there rather than a decent photo of the #FolkRidingBikes or the glorious avenue of cherry blossom in Liverpool Botanic Gardens.
Glad that I thought it was worth a chance to take last night's ride through there.

As seems to be becoming tradition, the #FolkRidingBikes had a Good Friday ride round the Wirral coast to West Kirby for fish and chips.
It looks nice in the photo but there was an ridiculous headwind all the way. However, that made the night ride back a dream
And while I'm catching up on posting photos, on Friday the #FolkRidingBikes had a trip over the water to the Wirral.
The ferry had just been taken out of service with engine trouble, but the captain generously gave us a lift for free as they limped back to Seacombe.
Surprisingly cold this evening, but dry while we were riding
Although we can see Wales from Liverpool, we've also got the oldest Chinese community in Europe, so we're just as likely to encounter their dragons as we are the Welsh.
Got to see this pair guarding the Albert Dock on Friday evening's #FolkRidingBikes ride
Lovely talk from @tom (who seems mostly not here these days 😞) talking about Edinburgh Gravel Cycling Club
If you swapped Edinburgh for Liverpool, and gravel for riding-with-tunes, this could be a talk about #FolkRidingBikes
Managed to dodge most of the head winds on last night's #FolkRidingBikes ride.
Was lovely to have @pete join us, and not just because he lent me an inner-tube when I picked up a puncture 🤣
