We had changeable weather on the fourth day of our crossing of the Alps - moderate rain, dense fog, chill wind and some rays of sunshine sprinkled in between. The landscape tried to match the variety of the weather, from Alpine meadows at the Trauneralm to large scree fields near the Untere Pfandlscharte and the rather busy Pasterzenhaus at the Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße. During a short break in the Untere Pfandlscharte, we decided against ascending even further to the top of the Spielmann, because it was already cold and very(!) windy. Sadly this meant we missed the chance to climb our first three-thousand-metre mountain.

I have recently started going through photographs that I've been taking in the past 15 years to be able to post some here in Pixelfed. And oh boy have I found some awesome stuff and most of them have never been posted anywhere! It is a big task to go through my archives, since I have only gone through a few years and already found hundreds of cool photos 🤭

It's also fun to see some edited versions, which look more like those heavy filters from early years of Instagram that we all used to love. So I will absolutely re-edit those photos! 😄

This spider web with water drops from 2013 is still a photo that I am really proud of. I had been taking photos on a foggy morning in my hometown, when my dad suggested that we drive a bit around. We ended up in a harbor that I had never been to and there this beauty was! I was truly in the right place at the right time 😍
I have only edited a tiny bit of contrast and color, other than that it's all nature's creation ✨
