My first attempt at focus stacking with a macro lens. Hastily captured over lunch time today.

Processed with https://github.com/lucalista/shinestacker although I'm still considering other options. Shine Stacker errors out after composing the image with an EXIF error, and OOMed my computer on my first try.

Experimenting with new tools: focus stacking. This is a (deceased) carpenter bee taken from one of the traps I use to try and minimize the holes they drill in my porch, on a sassafras leaf. 60 shots stacked.

*Irgendwas hat die Software da zusammengepanscht, ich hab's gesehen, wie sich das Bild während des Erstellprozesses leicht verändert hat, aber was? Keiiiine Ahnung.
