The landscape we added last summer is looking quite good this year. We had to hand water a lot last year due to drought—but the plants established and are doing well.

The flower is a Rudbeckia Hirta, commonly known as a Black-Eyed Susan in the USA. It’s one of my favorite flowers. It spreads well in decent conditions without any effort. (As is common we have the perennial variety.)
