My third iris photo given to me by my sister in law. She keeps saying it’s commissioned, No money has been exchanged. I’ve only ever painted for fun or to make cards. And just a few paintings made to be given as gifts. I see it as just making something for someone and using it as a learning and practice opportunity. I’m excited about all the dotty details and veins. Not sure if it will turn out but it’s such a detailed and fun looking flower. Stepping out of the flat washes is going to be a new experience. I’ve transferred my slightly messed up sketch(don’t like how big the lower petal is but I’ve redraw this thing too many times /no time and this is close enough).
