In Gilgamesh (written around 2100 BCE), Utnapishtim is warned by the gods to build a boat and save animals from a massive flood, just like Noah in the Bible’s Genesis (written around 500–600 BCE). Both stories feature a divine warning, an ark, and a great flood. But while the Bible presents a monotheistic view, Gilgamesh involves multiple gods.

So basically, God lost the source code for every fucking animal, and had ask a contractor to do a backup before doing a high level format and reinstalling the planet. He seems to have kept a vault full of seeds, though. Data recovery found dinosaurs bones later (removed features?)
