Despite a bit of fiddling with the Brazilian Supreme Court ministry process, the final decision was correct, in my opinion. A company cannot do whatever they want. Period. The Twitter platform has been dead for a long time, now it is mostly a powerful tool being used by the far right movement, one of the biggest threats to the democratic world. The results of two German states elections yesterday are just good examples. If some teens want to use VPN to access this far right tool, they have no idea about it, that's understandable. What I cannot understand is the lack of government advisors pushing this topic and the importance of data control and sovereignty. If you are worried about censorship because X was blocked in Brazil and that caused outrage, just wait to see if Trump wins.
