Earlier this year I decided to try to dig up a set of X-Files DVDs. It’s turned out to be harder than I expected (I could have *so many* sets of 24 by now though) and I’ve only found season 3 (a solid enough season!) but today I found the first season of the spin-off Millennium — which is NOT on streaming or available for digital purchase! Very cool, and extra cool for $5. Now I have to find the other two seasons…

The Cobra Mole Rat — a DARK ENERGON ZOMBIE!!! — flew completely under my radar until the recent announcement of an even more zombified version, and just as I realized I needed it, I found a booth where someone was offloading a sealed Classified collection. I’m usually looking for cheaper thrills but $29 and no eBay shipping is still a win in my book!

I also got some thrifted shirts for work from some charity shops that are actually supporting good causes — a local hospice and an SPCA. A good day out!

I got this book last year either at a flea market or a second hand shop. Isn't it beautiful? How does it not have wrinkles on the spine? It's from 1993! It smells of old book, the pages are yellowed with age and there are small tears and folds here and there on the cover and yet it looks unread.
