I really liked the idea of #flattr.
I have a budget set aside to pay for 'things I like in the world' and use it mostly to pay for, or sponsor, #FOSS software and art/creators, but there are a couple things I dislike about the way I spend it.
1) Payments are fragmented over sites/services.
2) I can't give something to every project I like.
I liked the idea to pool all my money with others and give everyone a slice.

Magst du Blogs und Podcasts? Mit Flattr belohnen und abonnieren
Wir Ihr wisst lese ich viele Blogs und höre viele Podcasts. In der Regel, sind diese kostenlos was gut für mich ist, aber schlecht für die Produzenten, der viel Arbeit damit hat. Nun will ich ja nicht gleich jedem Blog 5,-€ spenden sondern lieber insgesamt 5,- pro Monat verteilt auf alle Blogs und Podcasts.
Genau dieses leistet Flattr.
Man kann per z.B. Paypal einen gewissen Betrag an Flattr überweisen und dann diesen Betrag auf die verschiedenen Blogs und Podcasts verteilen und auch mein Blog kann man flattern:
Über Flattr hatte ich ja auch hier bereits geschrieben, und wurde auch selbst schon ein paar mal geflattert. Gerade bei Podcasts, vergesse ich das flattrn aber gern mal, weil diese automatisch in iTunes und auf meinem iPhone auftauchen. Vor Monaten hatte ich schon geäußert, dass eine Abo-Funktion bei Flattr cool wäre. – Nun hat Flattr die Möglichkeiten geschaffen, ein Flattr-Ding zu abonnieren.
Mir nimmt das eine Menge Hirn-CPU-Auslastung ab und deswegen habe ich das gleich für meine Lieblings-Podcasts und Blogs gemacht.

Nun sind aber auch diese Podcasts schon sehr beliebt und oft geflattrt. Was ein wenig auf der Strecke bleibt, sind die kleineren Blogs und Podcasts.
