FLAGSTAFF, #Arizona -- "Jones and Clayson Benally, #Dine', joined walkers as they began their journey from #Flagstaff City Hall to Havasupai's Sacred Red Butte on Wednesday, on the #SacredLands #PrayerWalk for a Nuclear Free World.
Jun San Yasuda, a Nipponzan Myohoji walker for peace, and additional Buddhist monks and nuns are walking over 66 miles from Flagstaff to Sacred Red Butte on Havasupai homelands in solidarity with the fight to stop the Pinyon Plain uranium mine. They plan to reach the sacred butte on Sunday."

From October 2 to 6, 2024 #JunSanAsuda, a Nipponzan Myohoji walker for peace, and additional #BuddhistMonks and nuns will be walking over 66 miles from Flagstaff, Arizona to #SacredRedButte on #Havasupai homelands in solidarity with the fight to stop the #PinyonPlain #UraniumMine.

"As a #NipponzanMyohoji walker for peace, #JunSan has walked thousands of miles across Turtle Island over the past 46 years. All are invited to join this meditative prayer walk for a nuclear free world.

"This walk will start Wednesday, October 2, at 10 am outside Flagstaff City Hall."

Heat the milk till it just starts to boil. Let it cool and check the temperature by dipping your bare finger in it while counting. If the pain starts at ten it's the right temperature to add the culture and put it in the warm place.

I learned this from a woman who ran a Syrian restaurant in Flagstaff, Arizona in the mid 1990s and have used it many, many times.
