Here's a little personal project I've started - one where I'm repurposing some of my sci-fi designs (found on my YouTube channel) to make a backdrop of sorts... so this would be the base of a hab-block or similar.
I still need to make several more of a similar size - but I think it's going to work :)

For my planned #fiveparsecsfromhome campaign, I rolled up a crew, and then sorta stalled as I got minitatures put together and painted. I've got some brief narrative stuff in my head about the crew, also.
Like the robot! It's KEB-04: Kubota Excursionary Builder Number Four.
So of course it's painted Kubota orange, like a tractor!
For some time now I've been loosely involved with #FiveParsecsfromHome / #5PfH, which describes itself as #scifi #solo #adventure ( #tabletop ) #wargaming, I notice a lot of nice #ttrpg and #storytelling #game elements.
I really like the approach. The realisation (with friends) is still lacking.
I've managed to get a bit more work done on the shuttle that I'm making... but there's still a long way to go before it's finished ๐

I've got a copy of #fiveparsecsfromhome, and it looks like lots of fun! But I don't have any SciFi miniatures.
I guess I'm wondering about replay value: if I try playing with paper proxies, will that spoil me for later after I enjoy painting up some appropriate miniatures?
