•First harvest of the season, which I don’t really count given that I bought the plant that this came from with this part already growing out of it.
•I was lax with my green onion chop & drop so the bunbuns finally got to the strawberry leaves. But B”H, the flowers are still there! And those are what become the fruit!
•I built a trellis. Paid the disability tax of $1.05 per 6’ bamboo pole, rather than risk a panic attack from gathering schach in the forest preserve (already-fallen debris). And would you look at the color of this jute? Purrrr, right? Just like… purrrrrrr.
•Someone who I met back in my early 20s send me some spare seeds to sow, so this plot wouldn’t go to waste, this season, from my budget. Care to guess how many of the 7 varieties of beans will be either pink or purple? I can’t remember, so your guess is good as mine.
•Sprouting nasturtium, marigolds, hyssop, and yellow zucchini. Need to thin out the zinnia sprouts. #gardening
