FormulaI hope Intelligent Systems will go back to 3d models for character portraits in Fire Emblem after Fortune's Weave.
I especially liked how every character in Engage had their unique idle pose/animation.
Green Liamand then you have all the switch games which might get switch 2 bonus content but I don’t count that as a remake it’s just $10-$20 DLC so yeah…

In anticipation for Fortune’s Weave I decided to make tier lists ranking my own personal enjoyment of the games and also how much I both want and expect a remake of all the FE games so first my ranking:
Only real caveat is it’s been a while since I fully played Conquest or PoR so I’m a bit more fuzzier on those games (though I AM replaying PoR now… and also I highly doubt Conquest is ever beating a non fates game)

and he lets you hire mercenaries which are generic NPC units that you can use to fill in your team if like you play on classic mode and lose a lot of units or something… I think it’d be a neat idea to utilize and would do what Shadow Dragon tried with the paralouges but a lot better…

and it’s also just the concept that I outlined above cause Falchion and Tiki are good to use on the final boss… I did actually use this trick to access it… probably the only time I’d intentionally let a unit die TBH… also unrelated but I feel like they should have an FE game where at like a certain point you meet some mercenary chief named like “Vandham” for example

it’ll be a different story once Fortune’s Weave is out cause… uh… I like Three Houses and… I’ve played it once or twice…
Only a few hours though… really nothing much…
I just looked at Three Houses staff list and apparently Koei Tecmo also did all the game design.
While I am not a fan of any the new mechanics in Three Houses, the general Fire Emblem gameplay was still good and better than any 3ds Fire Emblem except for Conquest of course.
Still, I hope for Fortunes Wave they let whoever did the design in Engage to that part because Engage had not just good Fire Emblem gameplay but also the best.
