Compromise ≠ Consensus.
Conservatives know that and hijack the process of achieving Consensus - raising the bar to the highest common acceptable solution - to instead achieve Compromise - lowering the bar to the lowest common denominator, a 'compromised solution'.
This has the effect of achieving their goal of discrediting the policy or project in the eyes of the public so that no more of it is invested in.
The Compromised #FinchLRT that has been constructed and limps along slower than someone can run the same distance because of thousands of small 'compromises'.
We can't inconvenience motorists! Motorists shouldn't have to pay for infrastructure they'll never use. One or two left turning motorists MUST have priority over hundreds of transit riders.
