Well! New Paige Paigen Passport organizer designs!

I settled on a page size of 240 x 340 pt (about 85 x 120 mm), which is very close to the ISO 1:√2 ratio, and a writing area of 180 x 300 pt, which is very close to the Golden Mean 1:Ο† ratio.

With 12 pt (4.233 mm) rulings, that's 25 lines, and with 20 pt (7.05 mm) quadrille, that's 9 columns x 15 rows.

Pages/cards are to be punched on both margins with the #Filofax Pocket 4-hole pattern, compatible with Filofax Personal. #stationery #planners

I can't seem to find anything in my house these days, but today I did find my old #Filofax Kensington Pocket, which I used to use as a vehicle log, back when that mattered for accounting and taxes. It still has a few leaves of the old paper and inserts that are punched for both the 4-ring and 6-ring versions of the Pocket binders.

One thing that I see a lot of people doing in their personal #organization and/or #planning habits is that they often think they need to have a specific type of insert for every conceivable activity, but while purpose-designed inserts can be useful in many cases, as a designer, I think more people should consider using plain ruled paper.

In my #Filofax, other than the diary sections (monthly and weekly), all of my activity is on plain ruled paper of one variety or another. #stationery

Since 2018, I've been using this #Filofax Classic Croc Personal Indigo, and since 2017, the TWSBI ECO has been my pen of choice. The Filofax Bromley pen case I got in 2023, and I adore it. #stationery
I was thinking about the fact that there are times when my #Filofax personal organizer is just too big to carry, so I want a solution for writing when I can't have my Filofax with me, but which is loose-leaf, so pages can be inserted into my Filofax later. Filofax used to actually make travel wallets that had snaps to go through the ring binder holes, but even finding one in good shape on the secondary market is tough, and prices are high. #stationery #EDC

My new Pentel Sharp Kerry P1037C 0.7 mm Blue #MechanicalPencil arrived today,. I immediately loaded it up with the Uni Nano Dia Color 0.7 mm Blue leads, and I'm very happy.

The Kerry fits nicely in the elastic loop of my #Filofax, unlike my TWSBI ECO #fountainpens, but I need to find a way to carry both.

Next up: Pilot Color EnoX 0.7 mm Blue leads. I haven't seen any direct comparison videos, but the little I've seen suggests they are similar to the Uni Nano Dia Color. #stationery

Huh. I just thought of something that has never occurred to me, before.

US currency size: 66.3 mm x 156 mm
ISO ID-1 card size: 53.98 mm x 85.6 mm
Filofax Personal page size: 95 mm x 175 mm.

I need a leather #wallet that will hold four ID-1 cards and maybe a couple of bills of US currency, with six holes, that can be laid flat and inserted into the ring metal of a #Filofax Personal size personal organiser, or removed from the organiser and folded in half to fit in a garment pocket.
