The #USCTrojans gave up 300 yards on the ground to the #fightingIrish. They never switched out of the 4-2 alignment and so the Irish kept going right up the middle and the defense kept giving up big chunks of yards.

D’Anton Lynn’s defense is demonstrably more talented compared to last year, as observed by their occasional dominance. Yet, past the halfway point in the season and the secondary remains a liability. That’s entirely on the coaching staff.
