Forty years ago today, photographer Hans Runesson took this pic of Danuta Danielsson smacking a neo-nazi over the head with her handbag in Växjö, Sweden. Danielsson was the daughter of a Jewish survivor of the Nazi camps. The guy she hit was a neo-nazi whose name is not worth remembering.
