Shreya Ghoshal warns fans after her X account gets hacked

Mumbai, March 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) Renowned playback singer Shreya Ghosal has warned her fans about her X account being hacked since February 13th.

On Saturday, the singer took to her Instagram handle to inform her followers that despite her efforts, she has been unable to regain control of the account.

Sharing a photo, Shreya wrote, โ€œHello fans and friends. My Twitter / X account is hacked since February 13th. I have tried every thing in my capacity to reach out to the X team. But there has been no response beyond a few auto generated responses. I am unable to even delete my account since I canโ€™t log in any more. Please donโ€™t click on any link or believe any message written from that account. They are all spams and fishing links. I will update personally through a video if the account is recovered and is safe.โ€

Meanwhile, the singer recently made headlines for supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modiโ€™s initiative to combat obesity. Ghosal posted her video wherein she said, โ€œOur Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji has started a fantastic campaign called Anti-Obesity. It is the need of the hour as our country is rapidly growing and making its mark globally. It starts with getting our health in order. Letโ€™s pledge to eat right, reduce oil consumption, cut down on sugar, eat nutritious food, consume seasonal food, and provide young children with more nutritious food. This is the greatest wealth we can have in our lives. So, letโ€™s make small changes at home and create a big impact in our country.โ€

She captioned the post, "Truly honored to be a part of the #antiobesity #fightobesity campaign promoting wellness and a balanced lifestyle, led by our honorable Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi ji... Letโ€™s step up and work towards a fitter India, for itโ€™s the real wealth we can leave for future generations.โ€

On February 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi nominated actors Mohanlal, R Madhavan, Nirahua, and singer Shreya Ghoshal from the film industry to join him in his fight against obesity.

Mirabai Chanu joins PM Modiโ€™s โ€˜fight against obesity,โ€™ further nominates Sindhu, Gukesh, Paes and others

New Delhi, Feb 24 (SocialNews.XYZ) Tokyo Olympic silver medallist weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has said that she is feeling honoured to join the 'fight against obesity' campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Monday, PM Modi, highlighting the urgent need to combat rising obesity rates, nominated ten prominent individuals to champion the cause of reducing edible oil consumption. He also urged them to nominate 10 more people to further expand the movement.

"As mentioned in yesterdayโ€™s #MannKiBaat, I would like to nominate the following people to help strengthen the fight against obesity and spread awareness on reducing edible oil consumption in food," PM Modi wrote on X while tagging Anand Mahindra, Dinesh Lal Yadav โ€˜Nirahuaโ€™, Manu Bhaker, Mirabai Chanu, Mohanlal, Nandan Nilekani, Omar Abdullah, Madhavan, Shreya Ghoshal and Sudha Murty.

"I also request them to nominate 10 people each so that our movement gets bigger! Collectively, let us make India fitter and healthier. #FightObesity," the post further read.

"I am extremely honoured to be nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to spread awareness in the fight against obesity. This is a major health concern that can be eliminated by making the right lifestyle choices and choosing to be active, healthy and fit. We need India to move in this direction to support and enhance our growth journey," Mirabai said.

"Making small changes to our daily lives can result in a huge transformations for the country and help us move towards achieving our dream of making a Fit India," she added.

As a part of the initiative, the star weightlifter further nominated world chess champion Gukesh Dommaraju, London Olympic bronze medallist shuttler Saina Nehwal, London 2012 bronze medal-winning shooter Gagan Narang, former hockey captains Rani Rampal & Manpreet Singh, tennis great Leander Paes, two-time Olympic medallist shuttler PV Sindhu, paddler Manika Batra, Paris 2024 bronze medallist Sarabjot Singh and two-time Paraympic champion shooter Avani Lekhara.

During an address in the 119th Episode of โ€˜Mann Ki Baatโ€™, PM Modi discussed rising cases of obesity and said, "To become a fit and healthy nation, we will certainly have to deal with the problem of obesity. According to a study, one in every eight people today is troubled by the problem of obesity. Cases of obesity have doubled in the past years, but, what is even more worrying is that the problem of obesity has increased fourfold even among children. WHO data shows that in 2022, about 250 crore people around the world were overweight; that is, they had more weight than required."

"We can together deal with this challenge with minor efforts. For example, one method I suggested was 'reducing the consumption of edible oil by ten per cent'. Decide that you will use 10 per cent less oil every month. You can decide that while buying oil for cooking, you will buy 10 per cent less oil. This will be an important step towards reducing obesity," he added.

Very happy to join campaign against obesity launched by PM Modi: CM Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, Feb 24 (SocialNews.XYZ) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed happiness in joining the campaign against obesity launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PM Modi on Monday nominated CM Omar Abdullah among nine others to help strengthen the fight against obesity in the country.

โ€œAs mentioned in yesterdayโ€™s #MannKiBaat, I would like to nominate the following people to help strengthen the fight against obesity and spread awareness on reducing edible oil consumption in food. I also request them to nominate 10 people each so that our movement gets bigger! @anandmahindra @nirahua1 @realmanubhaker @mirabai_chanu @Mohanlal @NandanNilekani @OmarAbdullah @ActorMadhavan @shreyaghoshal @SmtSudhaMurty โ€œCollectively, let us make India fitter and healthier. #FightObesity,โ€ PM Modi said on his official X handle.

Replying to the post, CM Abdullah further nominated ten more people to spread awareness about obesity.

"Iโ€™m very happy to join the campaign against obesity launched by PM @narendramodi ji. Obesity causes a number of lifestyle related health issues like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, strokes & breathing problems not to mention mental health conditions like anxiety & depression. Today Iโ€™m nominating these 10 people to join the PMโ€™s campaign against obesity & requesting them to nominate a further 10 people each to take this fight forward," the CM posted on X.

CM Omar Abdullah, a fitness enthusiast himself, rightly deserves his place among those in public life, who are zealous about physical fitness.

During a marathon race organised in Srinagar last year, CM Abdullah surprised many by personally joining the race and running shoulder to shoulder with some of the acknowledged athletes of the country and outside.

His usual day begins with a hard workout and even during public interactions in remote places, CM Abdullah always prefers to walk. He hates being helped with his luggage during travel or by someone holding an umbrella over his head in the rain.

A few years ago, CM Abdullah tasked his party leaders to do regular exercise and to make it popular, he advised them to post their workout sessions on social media.

Given a chance, the 56-year-old politician would not miss an opportunity to go cycling, trekking or mountaineering.

It is hoped that encouraged by his nomination by the Prime Minister, J&K's Chief Minister can play an important role in spreading the message and encouraging others through the subsequent nomination of 10 persons as desired by PM Modi.

Even at his advanced age, CM Omar Abdullahโ€™s father and former CM Dr Farooq Abdullah would not miss an opportunity to play a game of golf. Though not as enthusiastic about physical fitness as his son, Dr Farooq Abdullah has been known to be among those locals who regularly played golf or indulged in a merry dance whenever the opportunity came. Between the two of them, the elder Abdullah is a better socialising politician than his son, who prefers privacy whenever his political life allows him to be alone with family and friends.
