These essential workers provide care daily to about 500 people. They're forced to take action because this government and the HSE refuses to give them their basic rights and recognition as section 39 workers.
Northside Home Care were on strike outside the Dáil today with their union the IWU.
Some of them have worked for 25 years and are currently on €15.04/hour, and others who are on minimum wage.
They're getting about 30% less than others doing the exact same work as them.

They refuses to give workers the right to work from home, while also refusing to make decent public transport to get into work!

LTI workers are one of those, but they have not had a pay increase in 20 years.
